So, I am trying to get back into this whole couponing thing. It is taking a while...let me tell you. I did go to Target the other day and spent $105 ($30 of that was a shirt for me, shoes for Kenadie and 3 gal of milk) and saved $62. Pretty much everything had coupons. I want to get back into CVS and Walgreens now. I am starting with CVS. Here are my scenarios to do in the next couple of days.
Trans #1:
2 gal milk
2 pk Oreos
Use Oreo coupon from FB
Get back 2 ECB
Trans #2:
Colgate Total 2/$5
Use (1) .75 off coupon from2/21 SS
Use (1) .75 off coupon from Colgate.com
Pay $3.50
Get 2ECB
Softsoap NutriSerum $4.99
Use (1) .75 coupon from Colgate.com
Pay $4.24
Get 4 ECB
Total $7.75
Use 2 ECB from Trans #1
Pay $5.75
Get 6ECB
Trans #3:
I am in desperate need of shampoo (totally out of conditioner, and almost out of shampoo---what happened to my stockpile???), so I have opted to do the Nexxus deal. Spend $20 and get 10 ECB.
So, I will use the 6 ECB from before, pay $14, and get 10 ECB to start off next week!
There may be better deals out there to do, but I need toothpaste and shampoo, so this is what I have opted to do. Check back to see how I end up doing!

Who doesn't like Swag?
I joined Swag Bucks after reading about it on Hip2save. Swag Bucks is absolutely FREE! It's a fun way to earn Swag Buck, or points, while searching the internet. There are other ways to also earn points like shopping, trading in old cell phones/games, special offers, and promoting. Once you accumulate points you can cash them in for rewards. Like $5 amazon gift cards! Or like mp3s! I suggest you try Swag Bucks out too!!
You'll automatically earn 3 Swag Bucks, or points, for joining! Get a code by going to the special offers under the "ways to earn" at top, click blue box on right for "no obligation" offers and then skip through 7-8 and get a code to copy and earn another point or more! Plug the code into your account by going to "my account" at top right then paste into box on your bottom left and hit "gimme".
And invite your friends too! You'll earn a Swag Buck, or point, for every point they earn up to 100 points!
Go HERE and join right now!

Extra Coupons
I have extra coupons from the past few weeks paper, the All You, and also ones I've found in stores and LTF (Target $1.50/1 Skintimate/Edge shaving product!) !!
Anyone interested in them?
Also, in regards to the Skintimate Target coupon I have emailed the company in hopes of receiving manufacture coupons to pair with this for some FREE products! If you'd like to try and email go HERE or HERE.
UPDATE: I just saw this at the bottom of the contact, through email, of the Skintimate/Edge company. **Unfortunately, we cannot fulfill requests for free products, coupons or donations.**
BOO!!
I'm Back!!
Hi everyone!
I have not been couponing the way I want to lately. I started my new job last September, but ended up quitting December 31st. I then went to stay at my parent's for 2 weeks. I am now back, and ready to get back into this...which means keeping up the blog better! Thanks to those of you that have been continuing to post deals! Mary and I also have a Facebook page....Cedar Park coupon divas...so check that out, too!
I have some goals this year, so I will be sharing those soon. A big one is that we are working towards buying a home. A little extra money from couponing would help towards that goal! I saw on one blog that she had a "Eat from the Pantry" challenge. I am going to try that. I am going to cut my grocery allowance drastically and try to eat from the pantry and freezer. Since today is Feb 1st, this would be a good day to start, but I am not really ready, so we will see. I will let you all know how it goes, and what I fix (maybe....lol).
If anyone else has some good deals they would like to share, let me know, so I can add you!
Thanks for checking out our blog!

If you are shopping for girls, don't forget to go over to the boys section. They have some girl pjs and baby clothes over there for some reason. Also I was at the mall earlier this week and the deals/selection are not as good.
Since the weather is cold there was hardly anyone there. :)

Have you girls noticed the coupons in the back of the Community Impact? This time there was B1G1 free at YoYos, a few for Firehouse subs, and another restaurant I can't remember.

Randalls is a Safeway affiliate!
I noticed a few weeks ago that Randalls is an affiliate to Safeway. I see coupon bloggers always posting deals at Safeway...I was interested to know if they accept each others coupons, ect... and I asked an assistant manager today at Randalls. He said that they do accept any Safeway coupons and can be scanned like any other coupon in their system.
Now, not all advertised sales are good at both Safeway and Randalls but there could be quite a few cross over deals I suspect! I am going to start paying closer attention to those Safeway deals and coupons all the coupon blogs post!

Is it bad???
I just shopped at Target today and felt like I was getting a bunch of great deals on things that I really need. Which doesn't happen a lot because most of the time I am sometimes 'stocking up' instead of buying for the week.
Well, I checked out and tried to pay close attention to the check out process. What things were ringing up for and then my coupons scanning correctly. But my girls were not being angels so I could not pay 100% attention. (Let me just say my oldest bit my young child. ugh.)
My total was $60 and I saved $44. Pretty good, I guess...I did feel a bit of coupon shopping deflation. I just had to get out of there and home so I waited to be home and relaxed before looking at me receipt.
I just looked over my receipt and noticed a few mistakes. **sigh** About $2.55 in coupons, I was charged regular price for 4 items that were on sale, and was charged for a yogurt that I didn't get. Now to put it into perspective that's about $5.35 OOP. Doesn't seem like much but at the same it kind of does.
I am debating going and talking to some one in customer service tonight. I usually don't. I never have before.
But the first thought I have is this is the exact reason I don't feel too bad when mistakes are made in my favor. It has happen to me. Does it even out? For whom? I don't know. Me or the store?
Honestly though I do feel bad and dishonest if I don't point our mistakes cashiers make when it's in my favor. I point out mistakes that the store makes, if I catch them during cash out.
But here's the big dilemma...is it bad? Bad to tell myself not to feel bad when mistakes are made in my favor? Especially if I see it while cashing out and don't say anything? Does it even out?
